Welcome to the more technical side of the NFT creation process! In this step, we'll guide you through crafting impeccable metadata for Mint Hero and various marketplaces. There are two crucial types of metadata to consider: the elusive "Hidden Metadata" and the conventional metadata. The former conceals your NFTs before the grand art reveal, adding an extra layer of intrigue to your project.
Make sure to read Opensea's documentation about metadata https://docs.opensea.io/docs/metadata-standards
Create an account on Pinata Cloud: Head over to Pinata Cloud and set up an account.
Upload the Concealing Image: Upload the image you've selected to hide all NFTs before the art release, utilizing the 'File' option on Pinata.
Capture your IPFS ID: Once the image is uploaded, copy the IPFS ID associated with it.
Now, let's build the hidden metadata JSON file:
Next, upload the metadata JSON file using the 'File' option, just like in the previous Pinata step.
With this concealed metadata in place, you're now ready to take Mint Hero by storm. Open Mint Hero and set your pre-reveal URI to captivate your audience and build anticipation your mint.
Create a Pinata Cloud Account: Begin your journey by creating an account on Pinata Cloud. Navigate to the Pinata Cloud website and set up your account.
Upload the Mystery Image: Select and upload the image that will shroud all NFTs in mystery before the grand art reveal. Opt for the 'Folder' option on Pinata to seamlessly upload your selected image.
Secure Your IPFS ID: After successfully uploading the image, ensure you capture the unique IPFS ID linked to it. This identification will play a crucial role in connecting your NFTs to their concealed counterparts.
Now, let's craft the metadata JSON file for each NFT:
To streamline the process for multiple NFTs, ensure your metadata folder contains files named from '1.json' to 'X.json', each representing a unique NFT. If you want a collection of 1000 NFTs you need 1000 files.
Once your metadata files are ready, upload them to Pinata to seamlessly integrate them with your NFTs.
Finally, step into Mint Hero and set your base token and then people will be able to mint your NFT.
